Three Events, One Weekend

This past weekend I went to three events.  I saw Yellowcard, Martin Garrix, and Escape The Fate with Falling In Reverse.

Guy Agron did an amazing job in recording some of the songs!

Yellowcard

Yellowcard was by far my favorite show and its not because they’re my favorite band. Let me break it down for you. Yellowcard performed two sets. The first set, they played their album Ocean Avenue in it’s entirety acoustic. The band brought a cool mellow vibe on stage which was reflected on the crowd as well.  Everyone stood in place and just sang along to all their songs, no one stood quiet. It was amazing! The second set was a completely opposite mood mostly because it was an electric set. The crowd went from cool and mellow to loud and crazy. It was the best!

Martin Garrix

For a 17 year old, Garrix can DJ. The venue was packed, if the show wasn’t sold out it was close to it. This set was one of the best!

Escape The Fate with Falling Reverse

The tour was called Bury The Hatchet and they really did. After years of drama and craziness they finally settled their differences. Ronnie lead singer of Falling In Reverse sang side by side with Craig lead singer of Escape The Fate. They sang Situations and Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche which was seriously one for the record books in the post-hardcore genre. Ronnie nailed it.
