Festival Season

Spring is right around the corner, 26 days to be exact. But who’s counting? I am and probably most of you. Spring is the beginning of warmer weather which means the start of outdoor events. What kind of outdoor events? Music festivals. Nothing beats spending a whole day or full weekend enjoying your favorite bands, DJs, or music artists on stage. Spring is definitely the beginning of festival season in America with Ultra happening in March and Coachella a few weeks later in April.

But I’m more focused on the festivals  in and around New Jersey!

Electric Daisy Carnival

Well known as EDC, is a two day daytime festival/carnival that features DJs all day. On site, they provide a full carnival for people to enjoy all day.  EDC tours in selected cities including New York which for 2014 will be at Metlife in New Jersey. No doubt about it, I’ll be there and for the EDC Las Vegas stop!

Governors Ball

Located in Randall’s Island in NYC is a three day event that features bands like The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure, and more. Also artists like J.Cole and DJs like Skrillex, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso.

Vans Warped Tour features a variety of  bands from different types of genre. 2014 will be my 6th year attending. You will definitely see me at my favorite festival at the Holmdel, NJ date!

Firefly
